Didn't know were to post this but definitely relative to the study of science.

It would be really great if there was a forum here that adhered to standard accepted quality control methods. Brain storming, think tanks are very productive if facilitated properly. In real life industry for instance, Data is always collected quantitatively...the more the better. After this process has been completely exhausted by several brains...the more the better, then comes qualifying the data. Not the other way around. The reason why it comes in this order is because qualifying first totally slows down the creative thought process of several brains working in tandem. Resulting in "intellectual pissing matches", theories and non productive time wasting. A focused quality control circle or group has to adhere to the principles of modern quality control in order to be effective at innovation and problem solving. I have often been mistaken when thinking I could submit an idea or direction of thought to many of the forums here. When I do, it is to gather more thought, not to have my input qualified. If this doesn't make sense to some...please do your own home work...Quality control circles started at the end of world war 2 and stumbled upon as we helped rebuild The Japan we bombed. The principles developed are well known and have changed very little over the years. It is because it works. Japan really took the ball and ran with this concept in their successful bid for industry growth. So it has been my fault to assume that these forums work that way. They do not. Plumber
