I put this web address on my signature just to promote the 350 ppm movement for a few days.

350.orgIn my draft that has http :// www. included

(BTW if i don't put aspace between http and www i get Vivio Technologies - ColdFusion VPS and Dedicated Server Hosting,

I was surprised to see it contained a sun-smilie. "How clever," i thought, it looked Ok but if you click on it or use it as an address it takes you no where -defeating the whole point of the exercise.

I have tried to get rid of it but can't

if i cut and paste it here:-

I get

http://www.35rg

Strange? and? clever? too clever? computer glitch?

There just happens to be a smilie that is

:)

Uppercasing, the O in .org fixed it (which I did for you). The link will still work because URLs are case-insensitive.

Quoting several of the developers I've had in the past, "why would you want to do that?"

If the point is sharp, and the arrow is swift, it can pierce through the dust no matter how thick, :phones:

This is because vBulletin parses out :phones: as a smilie.

Use this code in your signature instead:
