Moontanman Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Official disclosure of extraterrestrial life is imminent An official announcement by the Obama administration disclosing the reality of extraterrestrial life is imminent. For several months, senior administration officials have been quietly deliberating behind closed doors how much to disclose to the world about extraterrestrial life. Dissatisfaction among powerful institutions such as the U.S. Navy over the decades-long secrecy policy has given a boost to efforts to disclose the reality of extraterrestrial life and technology. JMJones0424 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Ha, and lemit thought that his local newspaper was unprofessional. Thanks for the laugh. Quote
Moontanman Posted November 2, 2009 Author Report Posted November 2, 2009 Laugh? Why doesn't anyone take this UFO stuff seriously? I mean you guys are really gonna be sorry when they land! All of us true believers will be put into positions of power over you and you will be our slaves  Quote
Pyrotex Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Damn, you senseless marzipanal Humans! We had to delay the announcement so that we could persuade the Pope and Stephen Colbert not to cast us as "demons". The opening PR has to be handled JUST RIGHT! And now you go and blow it. Prepare to be probed. Without anesthetic. Quote
Moontanman Posted November 2, 2009 Author Report Posted November 2, 2009 Oh boy, probed, it's much better then being polled! Quote

lemit Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Tomorrow on ABC 8, 7 central. ~V So . . . ABC has got to one of us. I warned you. Since I am a media critic and a member of several whistleblowing groups, I was interested in the "whistleblowers" to whom the above revelations were attributed. When I found out they were "truthseekers," I stopped looking. I don't trust truthseekers, but more about that later. While I have your attention--Hey! I'm talking to you!--that local newspaper I don't trust is owned by Gannett, or at least it was a few weeks ago. Gannett has the reputation of not taking care of their outlying, smaller papers. The way the newspaper business has gone lately, the paper here might have been behind the "Balloon Boy" story. I'm sure the hotel business here (current score: 3 hotel/convention centers under construction; 3 major hotels in bankruptcy) was happy to have the information slime-mold of the world here. As for truthseekers, I've never been that fond of even the honest ones. I wouldn't be very good at a Grail quest, since I'd be too fascinated by stuff I found on the ground to get anywhere. As far as I'm concerned, the truth can stay "out there." Like Whitman, my interest is in what's under my bootsoles. That can be kind of profound too. --lemit Quote
