I havent had some in a very long time and to my surprise, upon closer inspection I found that it actually brewed in Ontario, Canada - I would never have guessed.. Quote

Turtle Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 Total Do9mination IPA (hic) :friday: Ninkasai Brewing CompanyEugene Oregon 24 fluid ounces: 6.7% alcohol by volume from the label: "Multiple hops collide in balanced perfection, dominating the senses, achieving total satisfaction. From the Pacific Northwest, birthplace of the modern IPA, comes a beer whose name says it all. The ancienbt (hic; not sic) Sumerians worshipped the beer they made, and praised the Goddes Ninkasi for the miracle of fermentation. Beer is a staple of civilisation. Worship the Goddess." 'nough said. :friday: Quote
Turtle Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 well, it's that time of the month when an old man or woman has some cash in his or her pocket & thoughts turn to beer. speaking of beer, did you know we have 5, count 'em 5, threads tittled Beer!!??  anyways, my fondnes has for the last couple years laid up with the ipa's. i was on the Broken Halo by Widme Bros. for quite a while but my market stopped handling it. (i should mention i'm in spitting distance from most of the portland oregon area micro-breweries.) (well, maybe not should, but i want to anyway. :P) the market also moved that Ninkasai ipa i posted on above, so i thought they stopped carrying it too. so i tried a new ipa also out of portland with a cool label. (i'm not going to mention the name of the beer or brewery 'cause i went to their site to get info for you & the site sucks...really sucks big! :thumbs_do) my version is/was a 24 fluid ounce bottle & 7.5% alcohol & touting an irresponsible amount of hops & sporting a schweeet label that has a character holding a bottle sporting the label.... :thumbs_up whoever did the label should do the web site. well, off to find some salty snacks & see ya next month maybe. :friday: DFINITLYDISTRUBD 1 Quote
