Moontanman Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 Could it be this article is too difficult to debunk? Could this be an indication that debunkers dwell on the reports that are easy to refute and try to ignore the reports that actually have substance? :naughty: Quote

Moontanman Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 It would be interesting if it came from an authoritative source. I wonder how aliens make spacecraft capable of enormous speeds without mining? Maybe they make them out of Boron-Nitride fibers mined in the kiuper belt? :naughty: Quote
lemit Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 The publication of the Novinar Daily about the BAS researchers communicating with aliens comes in the midst of a controversy over the role, feasibility, and reform of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, which last week even led to the exchange of offensive remarks between Bulgaria's Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, and President Georgi Parvanov. So, an agency in trouble suddenly finds one of science's Holy Grails. Never mind the message the aliens are giving the Bulgarians. The message the Bulgarians are giving other Bulgarians is: If you keep funding us, we'll be able to decode these messages that will make the world better. If you fire us, you do so in spite of what we can do for humanity. That's a fairly novel appeal for continued funding. I suspect scientists around the world might be watching this very closely, but not with the usual detachment. If it works, I'm sure there will be more cliff-hangers in the future of science in Bulgaria, and possibly a few other places. --lemit Quote
