Southtown Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 No more war. No more hate. Only pain. Only hope. Only togetherness. Goodbye. Sealed in a bottle. With a cork. Quote
pamela Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 No more war.*** then there would be no mankind No more hate.*** how would be fully know the value of love, if there were no hate? Only pain.*** it is through pain that we grow Only hope.*** for where there is no hope, only death remains Only togetherness.*** to choose to be disconnected, is selfishness; choosing togetherness is the wellspring of life Goodbye.***hello Sealed in a bottle.***only in giving of one's self do we gain peace amongst us, do not seal yourself off from your fellow man, for there is where unrest begins With a cork.*** to merely float thru this life without submerging into the interactions of love within mankind, is to be subjected to the tempest of loneliness Quote
sanctus Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 No more war.*** then there would be no mankindWrong forum for this, but i don't think the argument there has always been war therefore there always will be war holds. I do believe in something and that is no deity, but just mankind...don't you? Quote
pamela Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I wasn't sure where Southtown was going with this under Theology, but I figured that he would let us know.:) As far as war, there will always be some sort of war as we are emotional beings. Often times, that war is simply inside us, where we struggle with indecisions and fears. To view this world without warring amongst mankind, would be to ascribe to the hope of a utopia. I cannot forsee that as such happening soon, but do indeed have the hope that one day we can all live peaceably with each other and within ourselves. Quote

Southtown Posted December 22, 2009 Author Report Posted December 22, 2009 Touche. It is the message that's in the bottle, though, and that is so the message will reach some disconnected person somewhere. Quote
Southtown Posted December 24, 2009 Author Report Posted December 24, 2009 The cork is ignorance. The cork is sin. Please forgive me. Quote
