Moontanman Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Mammals May Be Nearly Half Way Toward Mass ExtinctionScienceDaily (Dec. 18, 2009) — If the planet is headed for another mass extinction like the previous five, each of which wiped out more than 75 percent of all species on the planet, then North American mammals are one-fifth to one-half the way there, according to a University of California, Berkeley, and Pennsylvania State University analysis. Mammals may be nearly half way toward mass extinction Quote
BrianG Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Can anyone find even a single species driven to extinction by man made global warming? Hunting has killed many species, so has habitat destruction. Global warming killing off a plant or animal species is another story. Quote
