Here's a neat little applet that lets you zoom in from a coffee bean to a carbon atom. I was surprised by a few sizes. For example, I didn't realize that an X chromosome is about the same size as a red blood cell.

I do. :-( Spent a couple of hours trying to figure out why this page won't load, I don't understand, because I have the latest Java enabled in Mozilla, but it crashes in IE and Opera too.

 

Real pity, I so wanted to watch this..
