Is there any proof that these or other early humanoids, could breed with modern humans to produce fertile offspring? Could they be another species, that sort of look humanoid (like zebra and donkey)? Would a good burden of proof for claiming human, be proof they could breed successfully? At what point in time, could pre-humans breed with modern humans. Is there any data? You misunderstand HB, human does not necessarily refer to Homo sapiens, human in this context refers to the genus Homo, there are several speices. Quote
