We had 7cm of snow here. It dropped to freezing at ~7pm (EST). It's now well below freezing, quiet, and very pretty. :oh_really:

I'm *this* close to going out and making a surprise snow man for the neighborhood. :yeahthat:

Well i did the snow this morning! We got about 6" of really heavy wet snow, of course power lines are down all over town but so far ours hasn't gone out. I made snow men threw snow balls to confuse the dogs and had a snow ball fight with my neighbors. I like young people, lots of fun, not like the old fogies across the street, lol. Nice snow fall, snowing off and on today and expected to continue into Sunday. it's been more than a decade since we had a significant snow fall.

I know Global warming is misnomer and global climate change is a bettor way to put it but the last year here, actually the last few but the last year for sure has been under average temps across the board, summer and winter. Not record lows or anything like that but not only below average but way more consecutive days of below freezing weather than I can remember in 38 years if living here. I expect to see damage of the native plants and possibly a cut back on some native animals that hang in here due this being a transition zone from zone 9 to zone 8, the temps have been more like zones 6 and 7 this year.

Does anyone think the solar minimum could have anything to do with the weather?
