Seeing as just getting them to grow from seeds presents a challenge...I think it highly unlikely I'd have much better luck from stems.:D

 

What I find odd are as of yet there seem to be no north American sources of plant or seed.

 

But there are numerous Asian and European sources of roots, plants and seeds online.....As for the legal stuffs I would assume if you can buy the seeds, roots, and plants you can grow them without too much worry of being imprisoned or sued.

I just don't know what would be involved with importing them...might be as easy as order, pay additional duties and they arrive at your door weeks later...I dunno.

 

The seeds aren't that expensive so I am ordering several varieties of blue (there are so many different shades).

Will post pics somewhere here IF I can get them to grow ;)
