No they are not the same.

1st BSc is not a 4 year but a 3 year degree. This is done after 12th class or +2. Remember this is different from Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology which are both 4 year courses.

 

2nd computer science deals mostly with the hardware part and netwroking while information technology deals with Software part.

 

But i agree that from your career perspective the institute you pursue the course from would matter more than the course itself

 

No Bachelor of Engineering i.e BE or Bachelor of Technology i.e BTech. (They are equivalent) are superior than Bachelor of Science i.e BSc
