roldlin Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 I have been reading about homeopathy - anyone know if it can help avoid miscarriage? I ahve had 3 so far - at 28 weeks, 24 weeks and 16 weeks so I was wondering if there may be hope with homoepathy Quote

There are no grounds on which to base any confidence in the method. More likely obstetricians can figure out the cause and suggest a remedy. In any case, if you try homeopathic preparations, they are hardly likely to be harmful because there's practically nothing in them except the passive ingredients. If you want to attempt pregnancy again in any case and choose to spend money on the homeopathic products, at the worst it will have been a useless expense. Your choice. Quote
pamela Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 Hello roldlins, welcome to Hypography :)Homeopathy is the very worst thing to consider here, however, looking towards your health is the right thing. Prior to pregnancy, there are several considerations to address. First off, allow your body to adjust from the last miscarriage for a few months. Take the time to really focus on your nutritional intake. There is a wealth of accessible knowledge out there for you to peruse.Look at your sleep intake and exercise and stay positive.Take a comprehensive look at your bloodwork and see if there are any issues there. Simple things such as drinking purified water can reduce the toxins that may be affecting a healthy pregnancy.Your body is an amazing machine; you must fuel it well. sanctus 1 Quote
