Where Do I Obtain Infomation About The Immune System?

I was recently diagnosed with an auto immune disease (sadly this is my second and I am guessing that I will collect another later on down the road). I have heard that the immune system is linked with cancer and other diseases, and I was hoping on doing some research to try and understand exactly what is going on with me and anyone with cancer. Any ideas where to start?
