Assuming it continues to work long enough to get near something outside our solar system, where is the Voyager probe headed next? Do we have any other current satellite missions beside Voyager 2 either in progress or slated to start soon? I know it will be many many years before a satellite heading out of solar system will encounter anything else, but it would be a nice thing to do for our future generations. Does our technology give us the ability to power them to other systems? Are any of these upcoming missions headed for the black hole at the center of our galaxy?

Originally space beyond Pluto was though to be pretty much empty till you got to the Oort Cloud maybe a light year away but now we know about the Kuiper Belt which has an unknown number of planets and assorted large rocks, etc so both the Voyagers have the potential to still make great discoveries. However distances past Pluto are such that they may not come within our life times.

 

The next rocket out that way will be the New Horizons in four years:
