AWARD: $100,000 USD | DEADLINE: 5/28/11 | ACTIVE SOLVERS: 372 | POSTED: 2/28/11

Challenge Overview

We are seeking novel methods for atmospheric detection of minute quantities of ammonia, nitric acid, nitrous oxide, and/or aerosolized ammonia compounds, at distances exceeding 10 meters.

This is a Theoretical Challenge that requires only a written proposal to be submitted. The Challenge award will be contingent upon theoretical evaluation of the proposal by the Seeker.

....

...wouldn't some sort of spectrographic detection be about the only way?
