Ps2Huang Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Many of our devices made currently relying on chips or nanotech. Like 4 years ago, most portable CD-players their prices were 56 dollars by average. Now, they are like 12 dollars by average. So does that mean 2 years later, they will be 3 dollars by average? Quote
Queso Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 that may be considering how quickly technology is advancing, and how small audio players are getting. also the format will change and cd's won't even be used any more...eventually. Quote
rockytriton Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 yea but the real down side to this is the fact that older technology (something only a couple years old) is now worth so little that it's not even worth giving away, so we trash it, and we are generating tons of more trash each year because of it. I'm no environmentalist by far, but I do think this is a problem. Quote
Queso Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 instead of just throwing it away, blow it up, destroy it, take out all your stress on a nice vcr or printer. trust me, it feels great. Quote
rockytriton Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 ha, yea, I've seen a web site where you can send your old computer to them so they can video tape them blowing it up. This sounds safer and almost as much fun! :) Quote
