quantum quack Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Question: Is a magnetic field considered as an emission or is it considereed as something else? care to discuss? Quote
Smokinjoe9 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Question: Is a magnetic field considered as an emission or is it considereed as something else? care to discuss? Emission, I hope not. That means my magnetic perpetual motion machine will have to be tested for emissions...... Quote
Bo Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 magnetism (or more general: electromagnetism) can best be seen as a field. Putting a magnet in that field disturbs the field. So nothing is emitted in the classical sense. Quantum mechanical things are a bit more complicated... Joe: care to tell us something about your perpetual motion machine? bo Quote
Smokinjoe9 Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Joe: care to tell us something about your perpetual motion machine?boWell. it was sort of a joke. but I have been working with magnets, steel, gravity, etc... for a while now. Not that I have a working PMM, but I think all I need is an external power source..... GAHD 1 Quote
