rockytriton Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I wish I knew how the universe started. I think that would not negatively affect anyone. Quote

Dark Mind Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I wish I knew everything. :xx: (omniscience) :D No two ways to interpret that, and it's good for somebody, although when someone does know everything (in science fiction) they usually end up killing themselves :(. Either because they go insane with their new found knowledge or because they realize there's no point to life, or at least no point to a life without learning (Oooooo, scary *shivers*) :hihi:. Quote

Maybe/Perhaps, orbsycli, you are this cynical about Christianity since you do not understand the full implications of the fall of man since the original sins. But regardless it is disappointing that you are not at this time able to enjoy the joy apparently of being able to accept the grace gift of the Lord Jesus Christ from God which will lead to eternal life in bliss for me and could for you someday. the alternative has such severe consequences. i will pray for you that soon you will find the Truth. peace and love, and, love and peace,(kirk) kirk gregory czuhai :hihi: http://Allendale.WS USA Quote
bumab Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I think the ultimate wish might be a humble one, indicating contentment... remember, the root of suffering is desire :hihi: I could certainly wish for a sharper lawnmower blade. I might go sharpen it when I get home... Wish granted! Quote

pgrmdave Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I wish that for just one day, for just one minute, everybody, everywhere, loved everybody else as their brother and sister. That for a brief moment, we could know that we could be happy, if we learned to work togeather. Quote

I think this is a very admirable want. well! I would have been the first to admit that i was a sinner too!what's it mean to wish to be brothers and sisters in Christ? it means to wish that all people: 1.) Loved the Lord God with all their hearts, and with all their souls, and with all their minds and with all their strength AS THEY SHOULD. 2.) Loved others as they loved themselfs. Or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. AS THEY SHOULD!!! love and peace, and, peace and love,(kirk) kirk gregory czuhaihttp://KirkGregoryCzuhai.WS Quote
