Bionicbelly Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) Hi Can someone help me please. I am involved in the Construction industry and currently seeking to discover various values of conductivity for water. i.e. i) Condensation on the inside of a single paned glazing system ii) Rainwater If applicable, values here for coastal and inland would be advantageous please if different, which I assume they are I have established the following water values Distilled water 0.5 to 4 µS/cm Supply Water 50 - 1500 µS/cmSea Water 50,000 µS/cm But the two I still seek will assist greatly please many Thanks Davidwww.dhc-ltd.co.uk Edited June 4, 2012 by Bionicbelly Quote
suresh123 Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 The only thing which I can explain you is that water is a good conductor and current pass it through by salts like in water(H2o),there are different salts like NaCl (Na+)(Cl-).Both the ions will carry current due to ionisation, same is happen with MgCl (Mg+ Cl-).So more water is pure the current will be pass through it less.
