Biochemist Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 there is a movement to spam back the spammers. i found this site about it www.spamthemback.zoomshare.comMakes me nervous. If he happens to select a valid site, you are colluding in an internet attack, which (I think) is now illegal under federal law. Sound like a bad idea, although I like the initiative in it. Quote
alexander Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 they will be better off making a movement to make spam illegal.... Quote

C1ay Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 I've actually advocated a different approach myself that I hope is still being used by some portion of the netizens. I made a short mail list and posted it to usenet with these addresses:[email protected][email protected][email protected][email protected][email protected] I asked that people forward my list and add other world leaders to it. I also ask that everyone forward all the spam they receive to this list. I think if the list is inclusive of those with power and all netizens forward all of their spam to the list those on the list will have to either live without these email addresses or take action.
