Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I saw a preview of it at the theater over the weekend. I was just interested to know how some other people would handle this situation if it came up. I would probably continue to go to work at least a couple days a week. Naturally I would spend alot quality time with the family as well.

 

I assume some will try to build bunkers and try to survive after impact. Doomsday preppers I think they are called. I live in a very rural area, I have a well, and a generator to run off of if needed, so I'm in a good position set myself up for doomsday if I choose to, but living in a world where you have to gaurd your house like a fortress everyday doesn't appeal to me. Besides even if you did survive an all out nuclear war or an asteroid strike the food supply won't last forever. Anybody out there have any unique ideas for the last month or two before the world ends?
