craigsmith248 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Hi, I thought this might be a good place to get information about physics. I am interested in understanding gravity :friday: if that is possible. I got here by trying to get some information on a book that I have been reading. The book is "The Final Theory" by Mark McCutcheon - don't worry I have read other books on the subject. This forum looks like it has some possibilites. My area of work is in software engineering. Hoping for some interesting discussions,Craig Smith Quote
Fishteacher73 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Welcome. We do have an avid physics forum as well as many others. I believe there is a thread discussion on "The Final Theory". It may be a bit stagnant though. Again welcome and enjoy! Quote
C1ay Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Welcome I think you will find plenty to talk about here.... Quote
Dark Mind Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Talk about, debate, discuss... Call it what you will, it's ultimately an exchange of wisdom, and we're looking forward to hearing yours. :friday: Have fun! Quote
Kukucan Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Hi everyone, instead of starting a new thread, I will introduce myself here. Very interesting forum! Lots to read, discuss, etc. Quote
Turtle Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 ___Hey Craig. Ditto the other responses. There's nothing like another point of view. ;) Quote
infamous Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Welcome Craig; when you finally figure out what gravity is all about, please explain it all to the rest of us. There seems to be a multitude of theories about gravity with little or no real evidence to support their opinions. The Special Theory of Relativity is of course most generally accepted, but there are still many unanswered questions. Good luck, enjoy your time here at Hypography. Quote
Dark Mind Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 Hi everyone, instead of starting a new thread, I will introduce myself here. Very interesting forum! Lots to read, discuss, etc. Well, it's not the first time this has happened (introduction inside someone elses introduction:naughty:). Welcome Kukucan! Enjoy the site. :friday: Quote
