there is an issue in the town i live in with using pesticides that endanger local habitats

I've thought about trying them, but never got around to it. From what I remember the units aren't very expensive, so it wouldn't stress your budget much to give them a try. I would think a half dozen of them would protect your average sized house.

waste of money. not only do these household appliances work poorly to not at all, it's a waste of electricity. if you have a pest problem, set out some traps and/or poison bait. if you don't have a pest problem, you don't have a pest problem.
