sehgaara Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 i dont know if what my teacher wanted me to research on was graphs or the simple concept because if it was graphs i know all about the relationship. then it must be something more substantial as it is our high school maths project! :/ Quote
CraigD Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Velocity is change in position divided by change in time. Speed is the magnitude of velocity - that is, its amount, ignoring direction. For example, if something changes position by 100 meters while a clock changes time by 20 seconds, its speed is 100/20 = 5 meters per second, which is usually written 5 m/s. Quote
OnlineMathsTutor Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 HI,As per my suggestion, speed is the distance covered per unit time where as distance is defined as the extent of spaces between two objects or places. Thank you once again..:) Quote
