Deepwater6 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 (edited) http://www.space.com/17800-giant-black-hole-mouth-measured.html Here is an article from Space.com about observations taken by the Event Horizon Telescope. It also has a quiz about BH's but I'm not sure if it will come through with the article. Test your knowledge of black holes. Edited September 29, 2012 by Deepwater6 Quote
modest Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 The question "black holes have infinite..." where the correct answer is "density" is a bit misleading. The singularity has infinite density, but a black hole's volume is typically defined with a radius at the event horizon inside which the density need not be unreasonably large. ~modest Quote
Deepwater6 Posted September 29, 2012 Author Report Posted September 29, 2012 Yes I agree Modest, If I remember correctly I think I got that one wrong. Quote
