pljames Posted January 1, 2013 Report Posted January 1, 2013 Some people believe there is no thing as absolute truth, just ones opinion. Either they belief it or they do not believe it. Or they do not want to be proved wrong which they cannot accept. Aristotle and Jesus plus Buddha all believed in what they taught others. Two of these teachers died for what they believed, at the hands of disbelievers with fear. A famous man two thousand years ago quoted "what is truth". There are those who died in battle believing what they believed was absolute truth. What is the true mark of a man? To live his belief and die for it. Thoughts please? Paul Quote

Paul (0) To each and every "statement" there corresponds an "identifier" and a "conclusion" Example: 1 statement (This is a statement.)2 identifier ("This" = "This is a statement.")3 conclusion ("This is a statement." is a statement.) This is (almost) all there is to truth unless explanations are called for. Post Scriptum: I advice anyone not to write anything because it will attract,Write what you feel is #right#... irrespectively of its consequences. (End of Lesson two.) EDIT: The expression "Absolute truth" is as silly as "True Truth"...right? Edited January 2, 2013 by sigurdV Quote
