Deepwater6 Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22181528 These two young ladies are amazing. Their cooperation and teamwork cannot be easy in a situation like this, but these two handle it with class and grace. I'm not sure if I were in their position that I'd be able to pull it off. Just going through day to day life must be a challenge to them. I am curious to know from a medical standpoint what will happen when one of them dies before the other? With seperate hearts and minds I suppose things could work out that way. Never the less I admire them. Having a younger relative in a wheelchair due to MS, I know how rude some people can get. I can't imagine what they have to endure with their situation. It truely is a great story of survuval. Quote
Abe40 Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Hello Deepwater6, thanks for your posting and the reference which I have read. It occurs to me that we normal individuals do not appreciate our luck being born as individuals. Those conjoined twins represent nature's work at its weirdest. Unlike some of us who are forever complaining over any little inconvenience; imagine the the ultimate inconvenience endured by these twins. My heart goes out to them. Quote
