georgi_zlatev Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 The problem of schizophrenia is the balance between the consciousness and subconsciousness. The balance is violated and consciousness take advantage over subconsciousness. And when the links which made us conscious are interrupted this lead us to schizophrenia. Our mind is build to seek to what we can not reach. This mean that big endeavours being conscious lead us to schizophrenia. georgi_zlatev Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Every man consist of two personality. The first is logical and is consciousness. The second is subconsciousness and is illogical.Human behaviour consist of two. They consciousness and subconsciousness switch on depending on the situation without we be aware of that.Subconsciousness switchs on when consciousness is unable to solve a problem like strange thinking. When consciousness is blocked for some reason subconsciousness replace it without our understanding.Strange thinking leads to strange actions which is symptom for schizophrenia. ntuc Posted May 18, 2013 Report Posted May 18, 2013 (edited) Since you are now giving medical advice, I think it only fair that you either post your credentials or support for your assertions. Yup, agreed. That’s reasonably fair enough given the facts that the points made are just, at first sight, seemingly come across to anyone to be so self-opinionated, personally & subjectively complicated, rather than generally & easily understood and acceptable especially in the context of general medical knowledge to most people, particularly the ones not belonging to the medical professions. Thus, even in the case whereby there are no credentials can be produced if these points are made by non-medical personnel, well then, at least duly certified, accredited & official medical journals, findings, relevant documents etc. should be provided to support & substantiate the credibility and validity of these obviously hardly understood & complicated points. Whilst on the other hand, given that it’s an open forum in which freedom of speech is freely given to anyone, any persons can thus just say whatever they wish to as long as it’s agreeable to the forum administrators. Nevertheless, the issue as to whether what anyone has written would be subsequently agreed by the ones reading them, oh well, that’s certainly and surely another totally different story given that different people naturally think about different things differently. So, that’s just objectively and openly let the ones reading them judge and decide the acceptability of these points made based on what & how they think respectively. Edited May 19, 2013 by ntuc Quote
LaurieAG Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 This was in the newspaper on Saturday. http://www.news.com.au/national-news/dsm5-psychiatry-guide-is-medicine-gone-mad/story-fncynjr2-1226645625932 The DSM5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) is being released this weekend and experts are warning it is significantly flawed.University of NSW Professor Gordon Parker says the diagnostic criteria in the manual are so loose that it will dramatically expand the number of people who could be classified as having a mental illness."There have been studies showing 50 per cent of the western population would now generate a DSM diagnosis," he told an Australian Science Media briefing.Sydney University Brain and Mind Institute's Professor Ian Hickie agreed that the latest version of the diagnostic manual had problems.New research has found that the chance of two doctors agreeing on its diagnosis of major depression is just 60 per cent."That's only moderately better than chance," Professor Hickie said. The current version of the manual, produced by the American Psychiatric Association, is used widely in Australia and leading local psychiatrists have already called for the new version to be boycotted. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-5 Quote

Thanks for sharing. Oh well, reasonably and objectively, by merely going through these wordings, it would just give most people a very direct positive impression and rationally inductive reasoning that the related medical experts and practitioners, maybe upon identifying & realizing the related flaws of The DSM5, especially in view of the related published criticisms as shown in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-5 ,are subsequently trying their very best to impartially safeguard the utmost important matters of health cares & medical well-beings of the general public. All in all, generally the medical personnel, naturally should, by the calls of their medical consciences & vocations, to honestly, conscientiously & thoughtfully be objectively considerate about and genuinely & diligently take good care of & firmly ensure the best possible interests of the utmost important matters of health cares & medical well-beings of the general public. Above all, it would surely & certainly be the key issue of the public interests of health cares and medical well-beings that would eventually count and matter afterall.
