I can't get my "E" Mail.

 

Running Safari on a three or four year old quadcore Apple.

 

I get this Drek:

 

Enter Password for Account "MSN"

 

The POP server "pop.live.com" for user "*****@hotmail.com"

 

Enter your password again or Cancel

I have entered my Damned Password Sixty Dozen times.

 

My Sister's Password. My Dog's Password.

 

Then occasionally I raise:

 

Online Status

 

This account (MSN) appears to be offline due to a network

 

problem. Do you want to try to go online now?

 

Stay Offline............Take All Accounts Online

 

 

I've tried every permutation of **** that I can think of.

 

Ready to Scream.

Did you get this fixed yet, SV?

 

I'm don't use hotmail.com myself, but my first though if my local email client (MS Outlook, I'd guess) got weird on me would be to try getting at my email directly by opening my browser to hotmail.com and signing in there.

 

If that works, I'd consider just using browser-based email forever. There's not much a complicated POP clients can do these days that browser-based ones can't.

Yeah, its working.

 

My sister changed my Password and with a new password...

 

Well, it went through a few brief periods of Asking for my Password every few minutes—but basically it settled down...

 

And now it's fine.
