Kahlil Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) I have just finished reading Susannah Cahalan's book "Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness." It's a narrative account of her struggle with a rare autoimmune disease called anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis that affects the brain. Since the symptoms include memory impairment, paranoia and hallucinations, the person who has the disease might be seen as schizophrenic or psychotic. Edited April 1, 2014 by Kahlil Quote
