Halyomorpha Halys (the Stink Bug)!

Is anyone having a problem with stink bugs? It is driving me crazy. We never had them, that I noticed, until about two years ago. Here is an article that I found about stink bugs and how they are becoming more prevalent.

Hi Laci, Yes I get them. I cannot find out where they are entering the house, but I have some clues. I always find the farthest two bedrooms down the hall. Somehow they are accessing entry through those two rooms. Not many, usually one a night that buzz my head while I'm laying down to go to sleep. Rather than crush them I usually put them down a drain to avoid the smell. So yes they drive me crazy too.

The smell is awful. It is kind of a woodsy smell. I become very panicked when I find them and try to get rid of them either down the drain or throw them outside. I just started getting them a couple of years ago. I think that they are crawling in around the front door frame. Last year I found several in my air conditioner. At least I know where to look for them this year. :)

In the UK the only pests we have are safely confined to the Parliament buildings.
