themadhatterj Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 My lab is looking to buy some custom antibodies, but we aren't sure what the best options are for us. Our antigen is nicastrin, and our main concerns are price & quality of the antibodies. Regardless of those things, I just want to know your personal experiences with whatever your custom anitbody providers are. I have done research on Pierce Antibodies, Abcam, GenScript, AbD Serotec, and Rockland, Inc., so any information you may have about those particular vendors would be especially helpful. Quote

BioPatrick Posted August 2, 2018 Report Posted August 2, 2018 Abcam and Thermo are two of the largest providers in the space. I've only had good results with GeneTex. They're a bit less expensive and I've had identical results. That said I've never tested with Nicastrin before. I would also check out biocompare which has a large index of antibodies from multiple providers. http://www.genetex.comhttps://www.researchgate.net/ https://biocompare.com Quote
