Loricybin Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 I apologize in advance for how vague and useless this request seems. I'm trying to find a specific post which my phone won't allow me to track down, as my mobile search function (at least as I'm using it?) won't allow me back past 2013. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So, there was a thread from.. '09? '10?.. that I *think* was started by user Orbsycli/Queso.. it may have been one about frequencies and oscillations relating between humans and our environment or maybe not.. I remember a thread like this coming up in past searches for the link but I don't remember if that was where I eventually found it.. Anyway, somebody had responded with a post containing a link to a page which had a sort of animation on it where 30 dots revolved around the center at the same speed. They started in a line and the innermost dot made the highest number of laps and the outermost the least for a given amount of time. I believe the outer dot completed one lap every three minutes. What was especially interesting was the sound that accompanied the visuals.. each dot would make the sound of a piano key when it passed the starting point, and the tone of the key was higher toward the center and lower toward the outside. As the cycle moved through different phases of the three minute process it would strike different chords. At the halfway point, the cycle began an inverse version of the first half, eventually leading to the moment when every dot would complete a lap simultaneously and hit every note at once. I have recently found myself thinking about it for reasons I can't yet describe in mental states I can't quite explain, and I'd like to study the demonstration more closesly. If it helps, I believe the page was on a .edu domain Quote
Buffy Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 I'll take a look, but we've gone through some clean-up around here and not all of the old content is available. I'll let you know if I find anything. Orthodox medicine has not found an answer to your complaint. However, luckily for you, I happen to be a quack, :phones:Buffy Quote
Loricybin Posted October 1, 2014 Author Report Posted October 1, 2014 http://whitneymusicbox.org/ Case closed. This is a different page than the original link, but with exactly identical content. Or maybe that was the original page and my memory is serving me very poorly.. stranger things have happened. Anyway, I managed to find this after doing several very carefully worded google searches. Enjoy! (variation 16 is my favorite, and may have just broken my brain. :eek_big: ) Buffy 1 Quote
Racoon Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 ahh, the good old days of the California wrecking crew.. Loricybin and Orbiscylin. Hopefully you guys are still developing and constructing the Dream Machine. Old Vinyl records make good parts. :cup: Buffy 1 Quote
