pagetheoracle Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Why does staring at somebody, silently, freak us out and why does nervous gibberish or verbosity put us at ease or at least seem non-threatening? Is this down to predator / prey relationship and mother and young (continual cooing)? If it is primeval, does this tell us something about the use of these two particular senses, considering that most communication is non-verbal? Quote
