The light circular core of each system is the Haversian canal, through which blood vessels pass. Artwork of compact bone show details of the Haversian systems. According to "Science in Archaeology," Haversian canals ALWAYSexist and are always identifiable in bone, despite its age or that it has beensubjected to the process of petrification. THE INTERNAL STRUCTURE OF HUMAN SKULL IN THE BOULDER This is the boulder with the human skull protruding that Ed ConradDiscovered in 1982. It was found with the jawbone facing downward. The SmithsonianDID ADMIT that it does indeed resemble a human cranium but dismssedit as a rock or a concretion.http://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page3_files/body_data/skulla.jpg This is another view of the boulder, with the skull ERECT.http://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page3_files/body_data/skullb.jpg This is a photo of the boulder at a slight angle, revealing thatthe petrified human skull extends above the surface.http://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page3_files/body_data/z2_2.jpg When Ed Conrad requested that the Smithsonian prepare a groundsection to examine the structure of the human skull in the boulder, the request was denied.http://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page3_files/body_data/rr072782.gif Ed Sends Smithsonian Granules from Object in Boulder Ed favorably followed up on the request by Raymond Rye'srequest and removed some granules from the rind of the objectresembling a human cranium protruding from the boulder. However, before mailing them, Ed examined the granulesmicroscopically. This is because, at this point in time, he had learnedsomething about the identification of bone that he hadn't knownduring his visit to the Smithsonian a year earlier. Ed was now aware that bone contains minuscule Haversiancanals and their presence is the conclusive evidence of bone, even if the bone had petrified. This scientific fact appears in the book, "Science inArchaeology," which states that neither age nor the process ofpetrification can remove what are known as Haversian canals,an integral part of the cell structure of bone. He had learned that, since the Haversian canals actuallyare passageways for nutrients to living bone, even the processof petrification cannot displace them because, as tiny tunnels, there was nothing there to begin with. Therefore, prior to sending the granules, Ed's microscopicexamination revealed the presence of "pinholes" in the thinnestpieces, virtually identical to unpetrified cadaver bone at the samelow magnification.<http://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page3_files/body_data/rr072782.gifhttp://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page4_files/body_data/rr090982.gif EXAMINATION OF CELL STRUCTURE WAS IGNORED Ed wrote to Rye, wondering why the Smithsonian tested formineral composition when it was supposed to examine the cell structureof the granules that had been removed from the rind of the boulder. After all, Ed maintained, Rye had stated in his letter: "Wemust do a microscopic study of the outer rind to determine if ithas the structure of bone." But, according to Rye, this was not done. Or, if it was, theSmithsonian wanted to hide that fact. Ed insists the Smithsonian had supplied an answer to a question-- about mineral composition -- that did not even apply in thisparticular case. In any event, in his response to Ed's follow-up letter, Ryerather surprisingly agreed about the necessity of having the cellstructure examined. However, he offered a weak and sad explanationas to why the Smithsonian had not done so (although only a imbecilewould even think its experts had not viewed the cell structureof the granules and HAD SEEN the Haversian canals, thus confirmingthe material IS bone and that the object embedded in the boulderIS INDEED a human cranium).http://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/page4_files/body_data/rr102282.gifhttp://www.edconrad.com/oldascoal/index_files/body_data/quotesnew.gif MAN AS OLD AS COAL (And The Smithsonian knows it!)<< http://www.edconrad.com
