Zinc Solution

I need to find or make a zinc solution to add to a pmma acrylic in ethanol solution to make it more water resistant.

 

Also what sort of percentage should i start testing at?

 

The end product need to remain a clear coating.

 

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.
