pagetheoracle Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 I had an insight into this story with regards to two of my dogs. The new one demanded attention so that the old one became neglected. It's attention addiction and the whole thing is about balance - that is inclusion and adjustment. At its root is jealousy* on one side (the loyal child) and overcompensation on the other (the father), plus the urge to keep the family (or race) together, through forgiveness and favouritism - at least that is how I see it. * Hence the brother questioning the father about his actions, instead of accepting them. ErlyRisa Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Maybe the son is tired of the father: --and to Quote Genesis --> the whole point of life is for the offspring to leave.ie. Parents are not supposed to utilise their children as what is in effect an "in house" porn industry for themselves. As to your dogs: yes Pecking order...but rather than seperating them: You get to be the pervert that watches each ones actions for your own amusement. ie. You don't need the bible to understand when you yourself are behaving as GOD.Hence why god doesn't exist, only the LORD. (Has power but is aware of being an observer: therfore enacts upon the world a state where he is no longer a GOD) --> to me a retalition against the Polytheists. Quote
