OldBill
Ya know Buff - I think this guy may have a point. Take the modern microwave oven, for instance. It has likely evolved from something near & dear to my heart: the martini cocktail shaker. The fact that its very function relied on the rapid excitation of molecules to induce a thermic exchange, with mechanical swirl-like rotations of gin and vermouth imparting their heat, thus causing the ice to change state while producing a near-perfect complement to any table offerings. It may very well be attributed solely to 007's eschewing of the cocktail shaker that - as a matter of survival - that it began its journey toward evolving as the modern-day microwave oven. Yes - I'm sure that's it... rendering some validity to Ryndanangsomethin'orother's point! pgrmdave
