LisaL Posted March 15, 2015 Report Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Can a person get pneumonia directly from breathing very cold windy air? I came across someone who believes this, and when I was younger thats what I was always told so I'm wondering if it's possible. When it's very cold my lungs hurt. Can cold air inflame the lungs? Since pneumonia refers to inflammation, not always by an infectious cause (eg aspiration pneumonia, or chemical pneumonia). Edited March 15, 2015 by LisaL Quote
