This has apparently been out for as long as this forum has existed, so I'm surprised a search didn't turn up any references to it:

Seems very much to fit the bill for the reading part of the VR system. Others (apparently in several languages!) have also commented on how SAO-esque the thing is, right down to it being a simple headpiece.

This is getting closer to what we are looking for, but its not really there quite yet. The interpretation for the brain is far simpler than we want. This will function more like valve's SteamVR with the mental controller devices that have been mentioned throught the fourm, than a FullDive system.
