A-wal Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) The idea that a smallish lump of organic mush is capable of producing perception, thoughts, emotions, genuine awareness is far the most ridiculous thing that a person could ever believe. That's not wanting it, that's just common sense. The brain is merely an interface between our body and our consciousness. The scientific consensus is that the universe - everything there is – began 13,820,000,000 to 13,778,000,000 year ago with the Big Bang. The world – the Earth – fell together (literally) 4,567,170,000 to 4,570,000,000 years ago, so is now about 1/3rd the age of the universe. Based on next to nothing! A-wal Posted January 20, 2016 Author Report Posted January 20, 2016 It makes wrong predictions! There are distant galaxies and other bigger structures that haven't had time to form at the distance/time that we're observing them, and there's not enough lithium. It's a dead theory, it just takes forever forever for mainstream science to admit that they've got something wrong because the system is an absolute joke. The peer review process ensures that change doesn't happen, regardless of any evidence. Somebody sent in a bunch of papers that were random gibberish based on a computer program randomly selecting bits from already published papers and most of them got published! Utter joke. It doesn't help that scientists tend to be the most intellectually dishonest people around. Quote
