Can different religions be likened to different operating systems we  use in computers ?

 

They differ from each other but can talk to each other as well.

 

Some share a common protocol eg) semitic religions.

 

Others differ considerably.

No, more seriously, I don't think it is possible to get a injective (or bijective even more unlikely) map of OSs to religions. The comparisons holds on the level that a religion gives some guidelines/restrictionon how to think just as an OS analyzes stuff, but to go deeper I do not think so.
