petrushkagoogol Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Can different religions be likened to different operating systems we use in computers ? They differ from each other but can talk to each other as well. Some share a common protocol eg) semitic religions. Others differ considerably. Quote
sanctus Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 So which one is linux? :-)No, more seriously, I don't think it is possible to get a injective (or bijective even more unlikely) map of OSs to religions. The comparisons holds on the level that a religion gives some guidelines/restrictionon how to think just as an OS analyzes stuff, but to go deeper I do not think so. Quote

I would suggest that religion is more like malware than an operating system.. Quote

petrushkagoogol Posted March 3, 2016 Author Report Posted March 3, 2016 Does this help? How else can we break this down?By identifying the leitmotifs in different religions and searching for equivalence. Quote
