mojassty Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 Hey Everyone! I'm glad to be a member of this cool forum. I'm an undergrad astrophysics major at Villanova University, and I like talking about all things physics and astronomy... and a bit of philosophy on the side. I found this forum when I googled a book title that came up in one of your threads. Now, when I'm not talking about science with my nerdy friends, I can come here and talk about it with all of you! ~mojassty Quote
Turtle Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 ___Welcome Mojassty. Which book was it may I ask? Quote
mojassty Posted June 18, 2005 Author Report Posted June 18, 2005 It's "The Final Theory" by Mark(?) McCutcheon. I like finding out about crackpot science theories, and McCutcheon's book was quite a doozy. His theories sound reasonable if you don't have a technical background in physics, and a lot of people were deceived by the book. I tried to briefly explain in the thread why his book is crap, but I don't think I did a very good job  And that's my story. Quote
mojassty Posted June 18, 2005 Author Report Posted June 18, 2005 Haha, I think I'm the guy on the right. Are you really out of town, orbsycli, or is that just your position? Quote
