Many source of information about the actual ancient city of Troy and its connection to the legends and fictions about it can be found in it’s Wikipedia article. If you were to visit there now, you’d be near the village of Tevfikiye, Turkey. Nobody’s lived in Troy since about 500 AD. Quote
