petrushkagoogol Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Is the kitchen an arena for mind sport ? - you can express your creativity- you develop manual dexterity- you develop a good memory (by remembering recipes)- i guess, it even relieves depression Your view ? Quote
wiseshopper Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Personally, Yes! But this will depend on the person. Maybe if you are interested in cooking, you can express your artistic style in preparing for your food. You can also remember recipes if you love what you are doing and it becomes a habit. Thus, it relieves any stress or depression because you get busy at the same time you really enjoy it very much. petrushkagoogol and sanctus 2 Quote
fahrquad Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 I enjoy cooking and being creative. I never use recipes. Unfortunately I have been on the road for the last 2 years, and do not have time to shop and cook these days, so the wife and I go out for dinner. petrushkagoogol 1 Quote
GustavoWoltmann Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 I agree, when I'm in Kitchen I exercise all the things that been said. I really enjoy when slicing ingredients, saute, frying, boiling. I know I really belong to the Kitchen. KevinTiangco Posted May 26, 2017 Report Posted May 26, 2017 I don't know but it will be more hassle while you cook and you have a chess game for example. Quote

connorbro Posted August 1, 2017 Report Posted August 1, 2017 I enjoy cooking in a way that I can test my artistic skill in preparing a dish, matching ingredients and bringing out the synergy in flavors, and also my precision or accuracy in measuring a number of ingredients to put or the time needed while cooking.
