estherocampo Posted May 12, 2016 Report Posted May 12, 2016 Are male individuals most likely to inherit cancer cells than female individuals? I am the youngest in the family of 5 consecutive boys and two girls. My father and his brother both died of lung cancer and one of their sisters died of cervical cancer. Have I inherited the cancer cells? Will I die of cancer, too? bryandaledc, jeannegorospeerguiza and norcioortizjr 3 Quote
norcioortizjr Posted May 12, 2016 Report Posted May 12, 2016 in my opinion..acquiring certain diseases or cancer its not a matter of gender its a matter of how a certain cancer maybe inherit from one family to another... jeannegorospeerguiza 1 Quote
bryandaledc Posted May 12, 2016 Report Posted May 12, 2016 based on my experience..acquiring cancer is based on the blood-line of an individual..it is corelated with what genes and DNA transmitted from one generation to another. jeannegorospeerguiza 1 Quote
jeannegorospeerguiza Posted May 12, 2016 Report Posted May 12, 2016 In my own understanding,.cancer is one of the out-growing reasons why mortality rate for human becomes a factor that is relevant to health issues. It is not basically what gender will acquire rather how we fight it. Quote
