jeannegorospeerguiza Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 In Catholic countries, people are not in favor of Euthanasia. Is it really a mortal sin to practice Euthanasia? What is your stand on this issue? estherocampo 1 Quote
jeannegorospeerguiza Posted May 21, 2016 Author Report Posted May 21, 2016 What is the major stand of medical doctors to Euthanasia regardless of their religion? Quote
estherocampo Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 Euthanasia is mercy killing...still your ending the life of an individual regardless of what your reason is. For me it is still a sin even though practiced by some doctors and with the consent of significant others/relatives. Better wait for the patient to die peacefully and naturally. Just sign for DNR (do not resuscitate). Quote
sanctus Posted May 24, 2016 Report Posted May 24, 2016 Completely in favor, I come from a country where it is legal (Switzerland). I mean if you have the choice of 2+ years of suffering non-stop or not, why would you choose to suffer? Or what with Alzheimer? In the beginning it is fine, then comes the point where you do not recognize your life-long partner, then you also start hurting all your loved ones.... Quote
