I.D Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 im 17 and i cant stop thinking, and trying to make up philosophies that are the absolute thruth. But i have found that most philosophies are generalisations, and generalisations always seem to have errors...also i pulled my friends hair and now he hates me..which has nothing to do with this i know..

Lord Henry Wotton Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I'm 16. I used to be a science fanatic of sorts, but have gradually turned to mainly mathematics and philosophy. I still enjoy science, but philosophy much more so. I enjoy all faccets of philosophy: ethics, metaphysics, logical positivism etc. I hope to study maths and philosophy at university (college) and eventually do a PhD in group theory and symbolic logic. For now I rot in this wretched place of schooling. Mark Twain once said, "I have never let my schooling interfere with my education." Mark Twain was a rather smart fellow.
Tormod Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 Wow. We have a new Plato among us. Great dialogue, Tinny. Tormod
TINNY Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 is that cynic?man, i respect you for all your intelligence and knowledge. sorry if i'm too egoistic or anything, just something for you to read about. nothing to lose.anyway, there's a third volume. click here
Tormod Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 No, no cynicism. I may not agree with all the stuff you write but I think it was a great presentation of your ideas! And I also like it when people show off their own stuff and it has some potential. I'll check out the rest as well - right now it's bed time for me (still working on the new version of this site!!!).
