Star / Planet Not Visible At Certain Angle

Hello, I was sitting at the garden at 11:50 PM when I noticed some quite bright object seems to be a bit darker at certain view position. (centimeters exactly).

 

It was not a cloud. It was really hard to find the proper spot agin but once I found it, the object was nearly invisible (viewing with one eye closed).

 

It felt like there is something small infront of the star/planet.

 

Do you have any idea what it was?

My guess is that you observed a satellite approaching the dark side of the Earth.  Without a good point of reference a satellite could seem to be stationary as it dims and fades from view.

UPDATE. I realised there are telephone lines leading around the street I didn't see at night. Sorry lel.
